Near-north Ontario, French River | Any chance your phone is set up to act as a 'hot spot' and is overriding your in home wifi? I'm with Telus here in Ontario and last month my usage spiked even though I wasn't on my phone much. Finally realized that some apps were auto updated frequently, Facebook being the main culprit, and eating up a lot of my data allocation. Facebook was also auto-playing many videos as soon as I opened the app, again eating up data. Disabled the autoplay feature , and removed some rarely used apps and data usage dropped way off. |
