| Had open heart surgery eight weeks ago. Last spring I had a pain in my back that was a blood clot. While looking around they found an anuresum in my ascending aorta that was being caused by the aortic valve ( known as a heart murmur ). I had surgery on July 17th at Iowa university hospitals. It took eight hours to repair the anuresum and replace the valve with a bovine tissue valve. After six days in the hospital I went home and didn't do much for a month. Two months later I can do anything I want. The only pain was the sternum as it healed. I am totally amazed at what the doctors can do. Praise The Lord! | |
