Crushing injuries are tough. Really need a vet to look at it and make sure it is getting blood flow and circulation is ok. If you wait it could get to the point of something really bad.
Most dogs do ok on 3 legs but a 200 lb mastiff is not one of those dogs that would do well, he needs all 4 working to carry that much weight.
