Download the label from on line and follow it. http://ws.greenbook.net/Docs/Label/L5842.pdf My tenant found trying to kill sumac that running ten times the label didn't kill the roots, only the tops and new tops sprung up in a month from the roots. When I got him to use the labeled rate, the kill was complete. Crossbow is plenty strong at the labeled rate.

The label I have says 1 to 5% in water, 1-1/3 fl oz to 5-1/3 fl oz per gallon of water.

It says 1.5% mixture for trees, 2 gallons to the acre. I take that as 2 gallons of Crossbow in 133 gallons water, or a 2% solution for those tough to kill.
