Decatur, Pekin, Peoria bids show about a $.50 cash inverse for this week delivery. This is prompting a few guys to harvest some early corn. Other elevators are lowering their moisture discounts to get early corn. Most local fields have black layered but moisture is still pretty high.
rail shipping rate is cheapest first half September. Also most are out of corn.
