If you have a very short window to cut past prime, mostly alfalfa hay and the ground is saturated from recent rains, is it better to mow and immediately ted it out wide and thin, OR make a pretty narrow windrow with the moco, let the mowed, heavy clay ground alongside hopefully dry a bit (maybe a day) THEN ted it out wide and thin? I am fairly sure this hay will not completely air dry given the weather forecast, and will need to be inline wrapped. But I would like to try to make dry bales to put in the shed. Jim
