Sanilac Co. Michigan | Likely going to get burned for saying this but I think you really need to dock for low test weight. Given the state of our transportation system there really ought to be a premium/deduction for the density of a given VOLUME of product being shipped. Train cars, barges and ships are constrained by the cubic feet/meters they are able to fill. Notice, I think a premium ought to be paid for a test weight/density above and established standard. I don't know how the issue can be addressed fairly otherwise. | |
