The flies have been bad here too this summer. I have two rubs that the cows and calves must pass under to get to their waterer. Here is a picture from July. I douse it with a diesel/permectrin mix. With all the recent rains I have had to douse it more often. The yearlings also have a rub across their waterer. You can really tell by the number of flies on the cows when I need to re-douse the rubs. Thanks all for the kind words. Jim
