central kansas reno county | Planted some german millet on some new ground this summer thinking I was going to hay it. I went by it today and noticed it was starting to head out. My concern is I was told if you let it head out you can't feed it to pregnant cows cause it will cause abortion. We have a chance for rain this too so it it really gonna head out. So I.was.wondering do I have enough time for it to go ahead a fill and thrash it or what am I to do.
How many days is it.from heading out till I would need to.swath it. Central kansas reno county not for sure.of average frost date. Thanks |
