eastern sd | I just talked the westfeild guy at dakotafest they had a drive over belt that they began manufacturing for their augers. I asked about getting the parts and installing one on an older auger and he said the problem is that the entire bottom tube of the auger would have to be replaced because the unit was heavier and the bottom tube would not support its weight when it is hung up for transport mode. I was really disappointed by this because it looked like a really good setup but maybe if a guy reinforced that bottom tube it would be ok? I think he said it would be a $10,000 dollar option on a new auger I don't know what the parts would be to put it on an older one. I think they have it on their website its called a gulp drive over hopper. | |
