NE Nebraska | Looking at trading combines yet before harvest. Dealers prices haven't come down much yet but personal listings and auctions show some pretty good discounts. The combine in specific that I am talking about is a Deere 9770. If a person could buy a 2010 model with every option except the 5 speed feederhouse and 4wd and 950hrs for 65% of what a dealer would ask right now would you or wait till dealers come around and buy it off a lot? There are a lot of them for sale but how long will dealers hang on hoping someone wants to walk in the door and trade for $ per hour like they have done in the past? We would also have to get rid of our trade as well. Whats everyone think?
