south east Indiana | I would use a product like vet wrap a stretchy self adhesive wrap similar to ace bandage, just a couple wraps around leg does not have to be lots. Wrap just snug enough it stays put. Any swelling above or below wrap it is to tight. I imagine you have a spray product similar to our Bitter Apple that can be used to discourage licking and chewing, may need that on the bandage or around wound.
I would wash area first and have it very dry before wrapping. Check for any thorns ect that may be bothering him. | |
