Subject: precision planted radish in red clover (part II)



The radishes that we planted last Monday and Tuesday on strips made in clover with Yetter Mavericks are looking good!

In the near future, we plan to clip the field with a sickle bar to give the young radishes more light (and prevent a few weeds from going to seed)

Corn will be planted on the radish rows next spring using RTK guidance.

The clover will be terminated this fall by:

TRT 1: early undercutting with a high residue cultivator
TRT 2: late undercutting with a high residue cultivator
TRT 3: late rotary tillage with a Howard rotavator
