Death comes to us all. Life's but a walking shadow | It is a clear case of the tail wagging the dog. Since the high of $5.13 on April 8th the price of corn has declined $1.48 and the value of your crop has declined $20.9 billion dollars due to short seller's selling down the market. However they have only made a little over a billion. Next time you meet a short seller pat him on the back and tell him, "Good job, boy! You left $19 billion on the table for a measly billion?"
They remind me of the old buffalo hunters. Kill the buffalo for the hide, leave the carcass to rot and the native Americans to starve.
Just maybe these traders aren't really all that smart after all. One thing for sure the endusers are laughing all the way to the bank.
