IL corn acre predictions are problematic

To put it into perspective, I live on a backroad which is is two miles long. Last year, I believe every field but one was corn. This year every field is beans except three. I live in an area where corn acres were 70-75 percent versus beans the past six or seven years until this year. I would put corn at 55% at the very best. The total acreage in Illinois hasn't added up from the start, but the fuzzy math some use never does.
