WC MN | I doubt they will shut up. Its trendy to be a bison fan now that they win. I went there before they moved up a division and you would not have even known the college had a team at the time. Now everyone is a bison fan. I would truly like to see them matched up against a good SEC or Big 10 team. The caliber of athlete is a notch higher and there are some things that hard work and coaching can not overcome.
You have to tip your hat to NDSU as they have had a great run and the kids are really something to be proud of. What I can not stand is that band wagon fans. I'm sure vailcat was a huge bison supporter since he was knee high, but I will guarantee that if they would have been a 6-6 team the last few years that the number of bison fans would be 30% of what they are currently. Even back in the 80s when they were a very good Division 2 program they did not have near the fans they have today. | |
