They should be in Mbps (ex mine is 15 Mbps down, 1Mbps up).

What service and what's the cost?

Mine is 6.5mbps down and 2.78mbps up and costs $59.


I live in town currently as well. Mine is 60Mbps down 5 up. I pay $40/month. It was 30 down but they upgraded it to 60 I guess. Price stayed the same.

At the farm we have satellite as its all we can get and it is 10Mbps down and close to $100/month iirc.

However my stuff at my house is always spot on with very low pings. The satellite is never at its max and naturally has long pings.

Really wish I could get the same stuff at farm as my house. Satellite has data limits and throttling as well which I don't deal with in town.


Farm is split between house, barn and shop.
