Depends on what you mean by the "whole system". You have two networks, internal network and your connection to your ISP through your modem. Your 2 routers are great, gigabit connections so adding the extra computer won't slow it down much. I'm pretty sure you won't notice. However, as the previous poster mentioned, your ISP connection, if slow, might be your bottleneck. Especially if the heat detection system is uploading continuously to a server. Check what your download and upload speeds are from your ISP. They should be in Mbps (ex mine is 15 Mbps down, 1Mbps up). Then check what the heat system requires or normally uses.
