Subject: Splitting internet connection in multiple locations

Iowa
Currently we have one internet connection that feeds 2 routers. have a Netgear R7000 nighthawk in the house coming directly from the modem, from the back of that router we have a cord running 100 feet into the shop into another Nighthawk router.

We are purchasing a heat detection system that needs an internet connection to run, the office in the parlor is 300 feet from the shop.

The question is would adding the computer in the barn onto the network thru hard wire slow the whole system down? Or would it not make a difference? do we need to get another account to try to alleviate what could be a speed issue?

Or are there other options?

Thanks for any responses and thoughts
