Jesup, IA
So they cancelled the Farm Progress Show on Thursday. Conditions were terrible. Lightning and wind made it to potentially dangerous to have people at the show. I understand it had to be cancelled for that day. But still, I was disappointed.

Does anybody else think they should have just opened the show back up on Friday, Saturday, whenever conditions allowed? What a waste to move everything into place, then punt.

I'm sure that this would have made it pure hell for those who needed hotels, had to reschedule meetings, get plane tickets changed, or heaven forbid, had to change weekend plans because of the weather.

Who in their right mind would just wait the weather out, and then get their job done no matter what it takes .....oh yeah, farmers do that all the time!

Perhaps the show should reflect the clientel?
