Red River Valley | planting decision are not made in a vacuum the fact that corn prices fall a $1.50 is only significant to planting decisions if all other crops do not fall a like amount.
Ok lets talk about what we need next year for planted acres to met demand -- tell me where you think demand is for next year and where you think acres will be ?? I have some numbers in mind but at this point it is to early for me to get them narrowed enough to matter .
I like your take on the sunflower company and though about that for a while, Then I realized that Sunflower seeds at a Baseball park is not a new Idea in fact I would bet that all of my adult life and most likely my whole life baseball and sunflower seeds have went hand in hand so while this was a new venture for my local spits company they simply are replacing another company at the ball park.
It's kind of like saying we are going to replace 5 ma of corn with 5 ma of alfalfa the end product is interchangeable no net new demand.
yes they ( giant ) gets to add acres but either Fischer or David lost some. | |
