Hi Mark,
I haven't used roasted beans in the last 20 years. Maybe they are better today, but back then there was a lot of variability in the roasting. I've toyed with the idea of pressing my own bean meal but I've never found the time to mess with it and not sure that it would save me any time or money.

I think I have enough meal on hand right now to get me into October. If you have any beans to sell, Bellevue was paying $13.50 yesterday compared to $11.50 locally. You could probably haul two loads a day for about $300 in fuel. You can bring back lime.

This was a great year for making silage. Every week this summer = Mow, rake, chop, rain, rain, rain, rain. Not so good for dry hay. I am dry baling the last of the third cut this afternoon. I will chop all the fourth cutting starting next week.
