Subject: Soybean meal shortage in Ohio

northeastern Ohio
I hauled a couple loads of beans out to the Bunge plant at Bellevue Ohio this week. They are rationing the bean meal due to a lack of beans to make meal. I was "allowed" to get 12 ton (I sold them 50 ton of beans!). The weighmaster told me that most of the regular customers hauled their "last" loads of old crop in this past week. Harvest is over a month away.

I also received a letter this week from Allied (Shelly) that lime and stone will be short this fall locally due to the lack of rail cars.
