Saronville NE | 11k hours is just getting broke in, but if using oil, Id be leary. Id keep shopping, I would be leary of a MXU, the utility tractors after the old maxxums and mx maxxums, don't have a very good reputation.
I wouldn't be scared of a high hour tractor if good maintence history and was priced right. That is the key, yes they could cost you 10k in repairs tomorrow, but so could a 5k hr tractor. Just buy em right, and they be ok, but gotta have a good discount for the hours. Don't have a tractor on the yard with less then 7k hrs, so far this year, knock on wood, I haven't spent over 5k yet total on 5 tractors for the season, and 4 outa the 5 will get 500 hrs a yr on em. They dont scare me. Just shop and buy em right. Our avg might be $3ka tractor a yr,not bad IMO, way cheaper then new. | |
