| It may be a wrong track but I would make sure no other pins than 2,3 and 5 are connected between the serial adapter and the display cable. I have seen before that while plugging the serial adapter directly to the display cable would normally work fine, with a new setup (Compass in my case) the display would only show "Unknown: FF FF FF FF" etc. Putting in a cable with no other pins connected than 2,3 and 5 fixed the issue. Just a suggestion. | |
