Earlage can work in cow rations, but it's pretty potent and you won't need much.
Limit feeding at that level is going to take really good fences and a lot of bunk space, that is 55-60% of what a 1300# mature cow would want to eat (at 35 deg F, dry hair, no mud, no BCS gain needed).
For mid-gest, it is borderline on protein and 35% higher than needed for energy.  For late gestation the energy is about right but now it's 20% low on protein.  All based on NRC 2000 requirements.
