I well remember June of 2003:
folks kinda talking bout what cattle be worth that fall:
everyone was pretty much ho hmmm....cattle were $70 to $72 cwt....soo say bout the same for fall.
i was actually relating a possible up move to government spending.
in 1993 the it was government spending ( extra dough in the whole system ) that caused the Up in 1993.
sooooo....heck piece of pie deal....Bush Jr spent a pile of dough ( from day 1 that guy was "overdraft city " ).
i took the proportional More Bush spent as related back to Clinton's 93 dough spent and predicted/hit the high fall avg of 2003 right on. ( $105+ national cash avg top for 3 weeks ).
basically 2004 was the advent of Mandate Ethanol ( another Bush deal to buy farmers votes ) cattle are just starting to recover from that Now. MO.
darn govt spending....jeez it's so much in today's times it's irrelevant to cattle prices ( what Mexico and the Pacific Basin spends is what Counts Now ) | |
