Having said that, i know of a lot of producers that have the pocket books to do uneconomical things for a long time.

I think that is as big a problem as anything. I want to farm and I am not going to quite if I don't have to. I suppose I will pay too much rent on some fields just to stay in the farming game. If I don't match what someone else pays I will lose the land and nobody wants to do that. It takes a few years of red ink before a lot of guys decide they don't HAVE to farm those acres.
