Between Omaha and Des Moines, 7 miles South of I80

Last Winter, during one Ag Leader Dealer customer meetings, they handed out some old price sheets (list prices) of different systems. (They use these at Des Moines Iowa Power show, for customers that just want to "walk by" but want some quick prices; these printouts were spare copies).

Just the first item, on Hydraulic Down Force Components = $2431 (Mandatory)

Now, I don't know what all comes with that $2431 price; but that would make farminguy's 20/20 price of $1500 look cheap.

If you already had "seed command" then you had items like implement switches, brackets, and its wiring harness.(little savings)

This was just an idea, to monitor something, for maybe only $200-$250, in two load cell sensors and make my own harness, into the cab, and use my multimeters/voltmeters (if even that is possible) . I'm not spending thousands, just to monitor downpressure.

This corn still comes up, using old school methods, BUT it wouldn't surprise me, if I found out I was running too much downpressure, a lot of the time, either.
