I hire a friend to custom combine, but he only charges me $30/acre corn or beans w/ 2588CIH,(cheap I know) last year we used his cart and tractor also. then to finish one night after coop was closed, and my wagons were all full we used his semi, straight truck and a few wagons, so we could finish out last field. when I went to pay him he would not accept any extra, I offered. he said it was worth it to him just to keep the combine moving. but he and his son are lifetime friends also. | |
