WC Iowa | We need more storage on our small organic farm. We don't need a lot of bushels room but need more cans. It seems like hopper bottom bins is more of a Dakota - Canada thing. How does it work to put small grains into them at harvest before they have gone through their sweat? Do most hopper bins have fans? Would soybeans work best? Could a person put cool November harvested wet corn in them with no aeration for a few months? Any and all comments will be appreciated. We are located in south central Iowa. | |
