Not as simple as that. Cheaper corn has lowered the cost of gain in the feedyard, so less incentive to take the risk grazing wheat. Also there are just not that many calves out there to be had for grazing.
Good moisture next spring, pasture rent cheaper (stocker margin tighter which is the key), wheat prices decent we probably won't graze out much wheat. Always seem to do some just to spread the risk around. Long ways until March.
