Yes and if you breed that heifer to a jersey and it by chance it comes out a bull calf looking like a jersey you just shot yourself in the wallet by the discount that calf will sell for. I will just keep using the proven LBW bulls and that guarantees me a good black calf to sell or keep if I want. Why risk it at these prices
