To add a question onto this thread....

I understand the vibration calibration for each grain needs to be done, as in needing the corn head on for corn and grain head for wheat and beans. I did the calibration with the grain head up for wheat this summer, but do you lower the head to the ground for the bean vibration calibration?


Also, if nothing changes (ex. no bearing or augers replaced on head) do you need to do it every year? I was told to re-do the calibration if a bearing is replaced mid season on the combine.
