I hear a lot of prime steaks get bought with food stamps, meat shops say they know when the accounts are recharged each month as it is a busy week. Cheap food in this country keeps everyone happy and under control. If protein prices are headed where you say, I suspect the government will be picking up most of the increased costs in one way or another, why would they let prices increase as much as you suggest, bureaucrats would rather raise their pay than have to increase food stamp payouts and give the farmers a pay raise.

Watched two guys the other night at the store buy 6-2 liters of Dr. Pepper on the EBT card then they bought hamburger, buns, condiments with cash. Go figure..
