Texas Panhandle | When my cousin got married we just met up mid-afternoon and shot skeet and tannerite for a while, then went to another friend's house and had a fish fry. We ate, listened to music, visited and drank a little. No one got trashed and everyone had a great time.
When my friend got married we went to his dad's hanger on his farm and had a cookout. They grilled sausage for lunch and smoked brisket and ribs for dinner. We also sat around visiting, playing some games inside, shot skeet and drank a little. With the exception of a couple of the "grown-ups", no one got wasted. It was very relaxing and I think he really enjoyed it.
As far as mine, we ended up going to a Main Event in Lubbock and went bowling and played shuffleboard. I don't drink but there was a bar and the guys had a few. It was relaxing just hanging out.
I may be old fashioned, but I'm into the bachelor party where you don't have anything to regret or couldn't tell your wife about. | |
