Our 930 header auger had seen better days.  We fixed quite a few cracks over the years.  Bought a new center piece from Mid West Ag parts.  Today we cut the auger apart and put the new center piece in.  Borrowed the big ole I beam from a friend to do this with and it's worked out well.  Thanks Hal.  Just hope we can keep it straight.

The new center had bands we put inside to lineup and strengthen the joint.

This was while we were cutting the auger in two.  First time using a pipe wrap around to mark something.  Borrowed that too.....Thanks Mickey.  Need to buy one of those to have around though.
