Aggieland | I'd do it at night if it were me. The best wasp spray I've found is spectracide(sp?) in a green and black can. It's not cheap but it works. I used to get wasp nests all in my horse barn eave and I'd wait til night when the whole family is back home and I'd kill em all. If you do it during the day you're probably missing a few from the nest and giving them a chance to rebuild and carry on. Before you do that though go spread some sulphur out around the perimeter to get rid of the snakes but always be careful with copperheads.
