Sandy Hook, MB | Hello All
Or maybe not??? I've developed a love/hate relationship with these guys as a livestock producer. Some will shoot them on site, which I used to. Last fall when I was combining barley, I was watching 2 of them hunting mice out in the fields, day & night. After I baled the straw & moved the bales off of the field & they were falling apart because the mice moved in under the bales & chewed the twines, I thought that the mice are more of a nuisance to me than the coyotes. They also thin out the deer population, which have caused me a lot of crop damage over the years. I guess, in nature, everything balances out. If I see them at calving time, well that's a different story. Reason for edit: Typo.
