Ten years from now you will rue the day he got hooked digital things. I'll be the Luddite here and suggest manual games and puzzles. Lego, for example, or whatever took the place of Erector Sets or Lincoln Logs. In the years ahead, teach him how to whittle and build a birdhouse. By high school he will be working metal, not staying in his room fighting zombies. Just my opinion, worth what you paid for it.

Digital has its place, and whether we like it or not, he will have to be competent in digital to be successful in life, but there's plenty of time for that.
