eastern ND | about a month and a half ago I started feeling a lot of pain in my left heel. It started on a weekend when I found myself doing a lot of heavy lifting and walking. I would call it a heel spur. Sharp shooting pain when I first get out of bed in the morning or if I have been sitting for a long time and get up to walk. Seems to get better after I walk on it for awhile but by evening my foot is throbbing like a bad toothache. I'm doing stretching exercises that help for a short while but overall not getting better. Very long story short, what else is working out there. I don't really like the idea of cortisone shots but am ready to try anything to get relief. Foot Doctor took ex-ray and could see a growth on the heel but didn't actually call it a heel spur, he says that term isn't really used to describe what it is anymore. Whatever it is, it hurts. Any imput would be appreciated. | |
