Eastern Nebraska | I'm assuming that's a laptop? If so, double check that when you plug the monitor in and hold like the "fn" key and hit the monitor key (mine is F4) that it doesn't start switching from dual display to single, etc. If it is a laptop, are you using an HDMI port or the VGA port? Have you tried a new cable (for whichever connection you're using), because you said you only switched the monitor. If all of the swapnostics keep turning up negative results, the port may be bad, or the connection to the motherboard may be bad for whichever port you are trying to connect to. | |
