zkeele - 8/6/2014 21:53 It's probably at the bottom of a dam. Flood control dams are the reason the Coastal marshes are eroding. There is not enough soil coming down the river to replace what is lost to the sea. This was my college soil science teacher's favorite topic, besides manure.



There aren't any flood control dams between here and the ocean that I know of.

I don't think there are any lock and dams either but I could be wrong.
