JD I totally agree 1000%  As my dad always says when someone asks what we are going to do today he just says "I don't plan the day, the day plans me."  Some will say that it is bad business to think that way, but in livestock world it is the way it is, work towards a goal and hope you get to the end of it at the end of the day.  Crops will be there, livestock may be deadstock when given the drive by like SOME, not all crop farmers are.

Not ment to offend the original poster with my last sentence, just what I've seen with some people when one sector of farming is on the top.
