1234 - 7/28/2014 20:28 Look at the last three charts of the net positions. For both 2010 & 2012 by the first week in July commercials were short 150,000 contracts and going more short. This year 2014 the commercials are only net short 100,000 contracts and have reversed direction, going less short. Why? Look at the direction of the price. Producers have stopped selling even as grain sales (exports) continue to be made. That's exactly what stood out to me. |
