Hear several guys locally talking about having to replace injectors in duramax's. Is that all duramax or just certain years.
01-04.5 LB7 motor 8th VIN digit "1".
They go bad, but many have already been replaced by now. Doing another set at the moment. They are not too bad to replace but are expensive if you are used to buying injectors for a 4020 or something.
Use the GM Racor filter and things will be a bit better. They can still fail but I wouldn't loose sleep over it. Most of those trucks are getting older and tired in other places.
GM will not replace any injectors on their dime anymore. That special service policy is officially over. |
