Independence Mo/ Truman Library/Home/Royals Ball Game, then make southern loop to Branson, Mo.  if one want out of the City.  Also lots of religion interests, close by if that interest a person.  Major Quilting area Hamilton Mo. 1.30 Hr North, it is getting very popular stop.  Should not have any trouble matching interests with activities.  Big antique store on I-70 at Blue Springs Brass Armadillo. Have a good trip.  Might check out Star Light Theater for what is showing, it is very nice out door site.  Watch area's GPS might take one into in the city proper.  Not for us country boys, especially after dark.
