NW Washington | I was surprised to see those Cat SA tractors still being used. They were used to be a lot of them used in the very steep hillside farms in the Pacific NW, aka, the Palouse Hills, in Eastern Washington, N. Idaho and parts of Oregon but big four wheel drives and rubber belts have just about retired all the old steel track "clankers" now. Also they are just not big enough to handle a lot of the modern equipment in use. | |
