thanks all...for the help. Didnt know they made those type repair couplings. Cant bend much,,,one end is under a sidewalk, other end under the pretty flower garden in full bloom.

I will get it fixed now,,,thought of taking the ridge out of a regular coupling but might take a special tool to get clear in there.

When it rains it pours,,,just found a plumbing leak inside a interior wall that has 2 carpets soaked and funny waxy mold growing from it. Its a exterior frost proof faucet for hose on outside of house. Funny thing is it only leaks when it is on. And left it on all summer to run schrub dripper hoses with a 4 way shutoff outside.

Anyone care to guess what kind of mold grows out of carpet and subfloor that looks and feels like shaved toilet wax ring?
