Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot | Newport is good. Go to the Rogue Brewery and to the aquarium. OSU has another aquarium (Hatfield Marine Center IIRC) there as well.
If you've got to be back to Portland on Friday, I'd probably drive as far south as Crescent City, CA to see the Redwoods. Then come inland on 199 to Grants Pass, OR and go see Crater Lake. Then over to 97 and take it up through Central Oregon. Crooked River Gorge, and lots of neat country out there. Then take 26 back around Mt. Hood. | |
